The Holy Land Review

The Holy Land Review magazine offers in-depth articles about the Holy Land – especially as it concerns the survival of Christianity there. Each colorful issue covers religious, cultural, biblical, archaeological, ecumenical and interfaith issues. The Holy Land Review brings you news, insights, commentary and encouragement from experts who live, work and minister in the Holy Land. The quarterly magazine (spring, summer, fall, winter) is the official and authoritative publication of the Franciscans of the Holy Land.

Who Are the Holy Land Franciscans? The Franciscans know the Holy Land better than any other group. St. Francis of Assisi visited the Holy Land in 1217 and, for almost 800 years, the Franciscans have been serving there. Currently, the Franciscans:
- Offer pastoral care for 29 parishes and provide spiritual direction for pilgrims
- Operate schools often at no charge to students, regardless of religion or nationality
- Care for the poor by providing housing and health care
- Maintain and care for the shrines and chapels.

The Franciscans in the Holy Land are housing and feeding the poor, providing formation and education, maintaining shrines and parishes, and conducting pastoral ministry.
